Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Estimator / Evaluator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and estimating the value of used vehicles to ensure accurate pricing and smooth procurement for resale. You will play a key role in maintaining the quality and profitability of the used car inventory for our group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspection and evaluation of used vehicles received from customers, trade-ins, auctions, or internal sources.

  • Assess mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic condition of vehicles.

  • Accurately estimate the market value, considering depreciation, mileage, accident history, and market trends.

  • Utilize evaluation tools and software (e.g., Autodata, Carfax, GCC market references) to ensure precise pricing.

  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each evaluated vehicle.

  • Work closely with the procurement and sales teams to ensure alignment in vehicle pricing and inventory strategy.

  • Recommend reconditioning or repair works to enhance resale value.

  • Monitor local market trends and demand to adjust evaluation criteria accordingly.

  • Ensure transparency and adherence to company policies during trade-in and valuation processes.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction during vehicle appraisal and purchase process.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in vehicle evaluation, preferably in the GCC automotive market.

  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components.

  • Experience using vehicle diagnostic and estimation tools.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer handling skills.

  • Valid Oman/GCC driving license is mandatory.

  • Bilingual (English and Arabic) is an added advantage.
