Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented finance professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager or Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry, and will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in compliance with IFRS and local Oman regulations.

Handle general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.

Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Prepare financial statements and various management information system (MIS) reports.

Monitor and control production costs and conduct variance analysis.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Maintain and update product costing and bill of materials (BOM).

Ensure compliance with VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory requirements in Oman.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors for smooth audit completion.

Address and resolve audit queries in a timely manner.

Supervise payroll processing in coordination with the HR department.

Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register and support periodic physical verification.

Ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally).

Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for automation in the finance function.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall financial management and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:

CA Inter qualified (both groups cleared preferred).

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.

Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, costing principles, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
