Description:

The Junior Buyer supports the procurement team in managing purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and inventory control. This role involves conducting market research, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely procurement of goods, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The position requires strong collaboration across departments to fulfill purchasing needs efficiently and in line with company policies and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying potential suppliers and evaluating vendor options.

  • Support price negotiations and help finalize terms of purchase agreements.

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely product delivery.

  • Coordinate with user departments to verify specifications and requirements.

  • Conduct market research to stay informed on pricing and industry trends.

  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with operational needs.

  • Maintain detailed records of purchases, prices, and supplier data.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and ethical standards.

  • Coordinate with technical teams for inspection and validation of delivered goods.

  • Support day-to-day procurement activities and participate in related projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and purchasing systems.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or procurement software (preferred).

  • Familiarity with inventory control and vendor management practices.

  • Commitment to ethical conduct and adherence to company policies.
