Description:

o lead, develop, and execute the strategy for the Leasing and Rent-a-Car business in Oman, ensuring profitability, operational excellence, fleet optimization, and market growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record of building high-performance teams and customer-centric services.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and implement long-term strategy for leasing and rental operations aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Identify market trends and opportunities in the B2B and B2C sectors to expand the customer base and service offerings.

  • Establish KPIs and performance benchmarks to ensure sustained business growth and profitability.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end operations, including fleet acquisition, maintenance, utilization, and disposal.

  • Implement digital platforms and systems for fleet tracking, customer booking, and rental management.

  • Optimize vehicle lifecycle management to reduce costs and maximize ROI.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive B2B and B2C sales initiatives across corporate leasing, government contracts, and daily rentals.

  • Build strategic partnerships with corporates, travel agencies, and institutions to boost revenue.

  • Lead pricing strategy, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives to enhance market penetration.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the division.

  • Monitor cost control, revenue generation, and profitability targets.

  • Develop CapEx and OpEx plans aligned with fleet expansion and business growth.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across sales, operations, and customer service functions.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, insurance policies, and company standards.

  • Maintain high standards of safety, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee contract management and risk mitigation practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the automotive or mobility services industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing leasing or rent-a-car operations.

  • Proven track record of growing and managing large-scale leasing and rental businesses.

  • Deep understanding of fleet management systems, vehicle financing models, and customer lifecycle management.

  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • GCC/Oman market experience is highly preferred.
