Description:
To oversee and supervise all warehouse operations related to automotive spare parts, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate stock control, timely dispatches, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between warehouse, procurement, logistics, and aftersales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the parts warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching parts.

Ensure proper storage procedures and layout to optimize space and efficiency.

Oversee the handling of parts in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems.

Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies and prevent stockouts.

Coordinate with procurement and parts departments for timely replenishment.
Team Supervision:

Manage a team of warehouse staff including pickers, storekeepers, and helpers.

Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to work schedules.

Train team members on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and usage of warehouse systems.
Logistics & Coordination:

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to internal workshops, retail outlets, and external customers.

Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for efficient dispatches and delivery planning.

Liaise with the aftersales and service departments to meet urgent parts requirements.
Health & Safety:

Implement and enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.

Ensure the use of PPE and safe operation of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.

Report and address any safety incidents or hazards promptly.
Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Automotive Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in automotive spare parts warehousing, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

Familiarity with automotive spare parts cataloging, inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Good knowledge of automotive brands, parts identification, and storage best practices.

GCC experience, especially in Oman, is an advantage.
