Description:

The National Field Officer is responsible for retaining and expanding Glasurit sales within end-user accounts through technical expertise, product training, and application support. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, competitive displacement, and technical training to ensure successful implementation and ongoing use of Glasurit products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain Glasurit sales within end-user accounts by providing technical and application support.

  • Develop Glasurit business through effective training on products and services.

  • Identify and satisfy the technical and training needs of new and existing customers.

  • Conduct successful product demonstrations and installations at customer sites.

  • Displace competitive mixing schemes by showcasing Glasurit’s advantages.

  • Monitor and report competitor activities in the market.

  • Address and resolve technical problems and handle customer complaints effectively.

  • Conduct basic training seminars at OEM accounts and customer sites.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Glasurit’s recommended systems and application techniques.

  • Support end users in replacing their current paint systems with Glasurit products.

  • Reduce customer application problems and minimize customer service escalations.

  • Ensure customer technical training requirements are met consistently.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High level of knowledge in colour matching and tinting, with complete product range understanding.

  • Technical expertise with refinish paint systems, processes, and applications.

  • Several years of technical experience as an automotive spray painter or application technician.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced car painter or application technician.

  • IT literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (intermediate level or above).

  • Technical training and customer service experience in the automotive refinishing industry.
