Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Executive to manage and execute payroll processing accurately and on time for our organization. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in payroll processing within a reputable organization, holding a finance background with relevant qualifications and certifications. This role ensures compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, and supports the HR and Finance teams in delivering seamless payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule, including salaries, overtime, deductions, and allowances.

Validate and reconcile timesheets and attendance records.

Ensure compliance with Omani labor laws, tax regulations, and internal payroll policies.

Maintain and update payroll records and employee database accurately.

Prepare and submit payroll reports for management and finance department.

Manage employee queries related to payroll, ensuring timely resolution.

Coordinate with HR for new joiner, exit, and transfer cases for payroll impact.

Assist in audits by providing necessary payroll data and reports.

Stay updated with changes in tax and labor laws that affect payroll processes.

Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and adhere to data privacy guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Professional certifications in Payroll, HR, or Finance (CA Inter, ACCA, ACA, CPP, or equivalent) are an advantage.

5–12 years of experience in payroll processing within a reputed organization.

Sound knowledge of Omani labor laws and statutory requirements related to payroll.

Proficiency in Excel and payroll software/ERP systems.

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
