Description:

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments, ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), VRF/VRV systems, split units, and ventilation systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues, perform routine preventive maintenance, and support new equipment installations.

  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.

  • Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed daily reports, including customer details, equipment details, work performed, problems encountered, time required, and parts used.

  • Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.

  • Identify, correct, and report unsafe, unhealthy, or hazardous working conditions.

  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Report all customer complaints to the service supervisor promptly.

  • Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are carried out to the highest possible quality standards in an efficient manner.

  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and instructions.

  • Participate in emergency assistance for equipment repairs outside of working hours as part of the after-sales support team.

  • Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned in alignment with operational requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Technical certification or diploma in HVAC systems or related field.

  • Proven experience of atleast 3 years in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, and split units.

  • Knowledge of HVAC codes, safety standards, and energy-efficient system operation.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

  • Commitment to safety procedures and continuous improvement.

  • Flexibility to respond to after-hours emergency calls when required.

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
