Description:

The HVAC Supervisor / Foreman will lead and supervise service teams responsible for the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across various sites. This role ensures daily field operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate HVAC technicians and subcontractors on job sites to ensure timely and quality work completion.

  • Plan, schedule, and assign tasks, monitoring project timelines and progress.

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Monitor work quality, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.

  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and compliance with project specifications.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to resolve technical issues and avoid project delays.

  • Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and job progress for reporting and planning purposes.

  • Train and mentor HVAC technicians to ensure continuous technical skills development and adherence to quality standards.

  • Order required materials and ensure the availability of tools and equipment needed for the job.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems on-site efficiently.

  • Participate in emergency after-hours assistance for equipment repairs as part of the after-sales support team.

  • Adhere to all company safety standards and integrated management system requirements.

  • Perform additional duties as reasonably and safely required to support operational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or certification in HVAC or Mechanical Systems.

  • Proven experience supervising HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair teams.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and commissioning processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and team management skills.

  • Commitment to safety standards and quality compliance.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Flexibility to attend emergency calls outside working hours as needed.

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
