Description:

The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling the HVAC service section, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission while delivering high-quality service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of HVAC service teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage service schedules, supervise technicians, coordinate maintenance and repair activities, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

  • Provide technical support, conduct training sessions, and evaluate technician performance to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline service operations, manage inventory and procurement of HVAC parts, and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.

  • Lead the team to ensure all service work is completed efficiently, safely, and to industry standards.

  • Be accountable for the care, use, and proper return of workshop tools and equipment.

  • Follow procedures when carrying out warranty work and ensure all warranty parts are retained for the required period.

  • Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, rebuilding jobs, and maintenance on customer and/or company-owned facilities when necessary.

  • Identify, control, and report unsafe, unhealthy, or hazardous working conditions in compliance with company policies.

  • Adhere to the Occupational Health & Safety and Environment committee’s responsibilities and authorities.

  • Comply with all company integrated management system (IMS) requirements.

  • Perform additional duties as may be reasonably and safely required to support operational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in HVAC service management and leading technical teams.

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations related to HVAC operations.

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and service management software is preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
