Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Corporate Finance and Accounts to lead and manage the financial health of a prominent multibrand automotive dealership group in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic financial planning, corporate finance initiatives, managing accounting operations, optimizing capital structure, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. This role will be instrumental in driving financial performance, investment decisions, and supporting the company’s expansion and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Finance:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and sustainability.

Manage corporate funding requirements, debt restructuring, and banking relationships.

Lead M&A initiatives, financial modeling, business valuations, and due diligence for potential acquisitions or divestitures.

Monitor capital structure and optimize working capital efficiency.

Evaluate investment opportunities and provide strategic insights to the board and executive team.
Financial Planning & Analysis:

Lead annual budgeting, long-term financial planning, and periodic forecasting processes.

Provide strategic financial analysis and decision support to business units.

Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis for key business drivers.

Monitor and analyze financial performance against targets and KPIs.
Accounting & Compliance:

Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and fixed assets.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.

Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across multiple locations.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, HR, and IT to drive business results.
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.

Experience: Minimum 25 years in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role in the automotive, retail, or related sectors.

Strong knowledge of corporate finance, treasury, accounting principles (IFRS), and financial modeling.

Proven track record in managing banking relationships, fundraising, and financial restructuring.

Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or automotive DMS platforms).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in the GCC region, preferably in Oman.

Familiarity with automotive dealership financial dynamics including vehicle sales, aftersales, inventory financing, and manufacturer relationships.

Arabic language proficiency is an added advantage.
