Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventative measures.
• Provide HSE training and awareness programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE initiatives and programs, making improvements s necessary.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external agencies to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, including incident reports, training records, and inspection findings.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness within the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably within a leading business group or multinational organization.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HSE management systems and software.
• Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proactive and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
