Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems in an industrial environment and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in an industrial setting.

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and tools.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair control systems, motors, PLCs, switchgear, and high/low voltage panels.

  • Ensure all electrical installations and repairs are in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and daily logs.

  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support machine upgrades or modifications.

  • Assist in energy efficiency and electrical safety audits.

  • Respond promptly to production breakdowns and work overtime if required.

Requirements

  • ITI / Diploma / Certification in Electrical or related trade.

  • 3–7 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial/manufacturing setup.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, control circuits, PLCs, VFDs, and power distribution.

  • Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety practices.

  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals.

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.

  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with automation systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

  • Certification in electrical safety or industrial automation.

  • Experience in industries such as cement, steel, food processing, chemicals, or heavy machinery.
