Job Responsibilities.

Experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in civil construction and interior fit-out projects. The QS will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and ensuring financial efficiency across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil and interior fit-out works during pre-tender and post-tender stages.

• Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.

• Develop detailed cost plans and budgets aligned with project requirements.

• Tendering & Procurement:

• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules.

• Participate in vendor negotiations and finalization.

• Cost Control & Reporting:

• Monitor project expenditures and keep costs within budget.

• Conduct periodic site visits for physical verification and progress validation.

• Contract & Claims Management:

• Identify and assess risks associated with project costs and contractual terms.

• Coordinate with legal and project teams for claim submissions.

• Work closely with project managers, site engineers, designers, and procurement teams.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth financial and contractual coordination.

Qualifications & Skills:

•                     Bachelor’s degree in, Civil Engineering, or related field.

•                     Minimum 3–7 years of experience in civil construction and interior fit-out projects.

•                     Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, cost control, and contract administration.

•                     Proficient in software like AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and Quantity Take-off tools

•                     5 years’ experience in gulf.
