Position Summary
• A person who entails promoting logistics solutions to clients and prospects that support their supply chain needs. It also involves proactively reaching out to significant stakeholders within the customers’ organizations, identifying and selling solutions and services to drive continuous improvement in their operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for developing a plan to achieve sales target and carrying out prospecting calls
• Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm’s Logistics and Supply Chain services
• Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution
• Represent the firm in negotiating and building a relationship with shippers and carriers
• Responsible for aiding successful pick-up and delivering, and over the road assistance while customers’ freight moves across motorways
• Sourcing new Clients through commercial visits and field surveys and close sales to achieve the target.
• Generate appointments to generate new corporate agreements for logistics services
• Ensure commitment levels without compromising on quality and focus.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
Requirements
• Any Graduate. Higher Course / Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain (Preferred).
• 3 – 7 years of sales exposure in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry in Kuwait.
• Good communication skills, Market Intelligence, Networking skills, Negotiation skills, etc.
• Candidates having NOC / Local release will be preferred.
• Kuwait / GCC Driving Licence
