Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Oman
Industry: Logistics / Supply Chain / Warehousing (Pharma Preferred)

Job Purpose

To supervise, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods—especially pharmaceutical products—while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
  • Ensure proper handling, temperature monitoring, and storage of pharmaceutical products (if applicable).
  • Supervise warehouse staff and allocate tasks to achieve smooth operations and productivity targets.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices, accurate stock rotation, and proper placement of goods.
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and support annual physical inventory audits.
  • Maintain warehouse hygiene, safety, and compliance with company policies and Oman regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with transport teams for timely dispatch and delivery planning.
  • Inspect inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy, damages, and documentation completeness.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc.).
  • Implement and improve warehouse processes, SOPs, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management.
  • Train staff on safety rules, warehouse handling procedures, and quality compliance.
  • Collaborate with QA/Regulatory teams for pharma warehouse compliance (GDP, temperature logs, cold chain maintenance).

Skills & Competencies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–15 years of experience in warehouse operations, including supervisory experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical warehousing or cold-chain logistics is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in Oman/GCC logistics industry preferred.
