Position: Finance Controller / Senior Manager –
Finance & Accounts
Location: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Purpose:
The Finance Controller / Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts will oversee
the financial management, accounting operations, and reporting of the
automotive business. This role ensures financial integrity, compliance, and
strategic financial planning to support business growth. The position reports
directly to the CFO and will be critical in driving operational efficiency,
profitability, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance, providing actionable insights to the management team.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure internal controls, risk management, and compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks for statutory and regulatory matters.
- Support the CFO in financial planning, investment decisions, and business performance improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and develop finance and accounts team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and business objectives.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, preferably within the automotive industry.
- GCC work experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, compliance, and corporate governance.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial software.
- Age: 40 – 50 years.
