Role Overview
The Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations for the Parts Department. The role involves managing inbound and outbound logistics, customs coordination, warehouse operations, transporters, and ensuring timely delivery while controlling logistics costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Take over and manage supply chain operations from the existing Supply Chain Team Lead.
- Coordinate all Inbound, Outbound, and Customs-related activities for automotive parts.
- Liaise with border agents, clearing agents, warehouses, transporters, and forwarders to ensure smooth operations.
- Track and monitor customer delivery schedules, logistics costs, customs duties, and payments.
- Verify and control billing from transporters, forwarders, and agents.
- Ensure compliance with Oman customs and logistics regulations.
- Allocate tasks to the logistics team and supervise daily operations.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, logistics performance reports, and cost analysis.
- Drive efficiency improvements in supply chain processes and delivery performance.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate / Post Graduate; additional qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in core logistics operations (Inbound & Outbound), preferably in the Automotive / Automotive Parts industry.
- Strong experience in warehouse coordination, customs clearance, and transporter management.
- SAP knowledge is highly preferred.
- Arabic language proficiency will be an added advantage.
- Strong computer skills with hands-on experience in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
