Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manage daily cash flow, fund allocation, and liquidity across multiple group companies
  • Handle banking relationships, credit limits, overdrafts, LC/Bank Guarantees, and trade finance
  • Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure and currency risks
  • Plan short-term and long-term funding requirements for various business verticals
  • Ensure timely vendor payments, inter-company settlements, and debt servicing

Accounts & Group Finance Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for multiple entities including GL, AP, AR, FA, and reconciliations
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing for all group companies
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Manage inter-company accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations
  • Strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting processes across group entities

Compliance, Audit & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with Oman VAT, corporate tax (if applicable), regulatory, and statutory requirements
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage group audits and closures
  • Prepare MIS, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis for senior management
  • Support management with financial insights for operational and strategic decisions

Budgeting & Business Support

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across diverse business units
  • Analyze profitability by business line (Automobiles, FMCG, Engineering, etc.)
  • Support pricing decisions, cost control initiatives, and working capital optimization
  • Provide financial support for expansion projects and new business initiatives

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team across group companies
  • Coordinate with business heads, senior management, banks, auditors, and consultants
  • Ensure alignment with group financial policies and governance standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience, preferably within diversified business groups
  • Strong exposure to treasury, group finance, and multi-entity accounting operations
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, Oman VAT, banking & trade finance
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
