Key Responsibilities
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage daily cash flow, fund allocation, and liquidity across multiple group companies
- Handle banking relationships, credit limits, overdrafts, LC/Bank Guarantees, and trade finance
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure and currency risks
- Plan short-term and long-term funding requirements for various business verticals
- Ensure timely vendor payments, inter-company settlements, and debt servicing
Accounts & Group Finance Operations
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for multiple entities including GL, AP, AR, FA, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing for all group companies
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
- Manage inter-company accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations
- Strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting processes across group entities
Compliance, Audit & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Oman VAT, corporate tax (if applicable), regulatory, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage group audits and closures
- Prepare MIS, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis for senior management
- Support management with financial insights for operational and strategic decisions
Budgeting & Business Support
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across diverse business units
- Analyze profitability by business line (Automobiles, FMCG, Engineering, etc.)
- Support pricing decisions, cost control initiatives, and working capital optimization
- Provide financial support for expansion projects and new business initiatives
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team across group companies
- Coordinate with business heads, senior management, banks, auditors, and consultants
- Ensure alignment with group financial policies and governance standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 15+ years of experience, preferably within diversified business groups
- Strong exposure to treasury, group finance, and multi-entity accounting operations
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, Oman VAT, banking & trade finance
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
