Description:

Purpose

  • Contribute to the growth and profitability of the Shelving & Storage Solutions division.
  • Achieve budgeted sales targets and ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Strengthen market presence in Oman by developing new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Summary of the Job Role

  • Engage in Sales & Marketing of Shelving, Racking, and Warehousing systems.
  • Generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial quotations, and follow up for order conversion.
  • Conduct site visits, prepare layout/design proposals in coordination with draftsman/design team.
  • Handle order processing and ensure timely execution and installation of projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments for smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels and support procurement planning where required.
  • Maintain sales records, project tracking reports, and periodic updates to Business Head.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationship management.

 Key Outputs

  • Achievement of departmental sales targets.
  • Daily customer visits and submission of visit reports to reporting manager.
  • Timely preparation and submission of quotations/tenders as per company guidelines.
  • Regular follow-up for order conversion and project execution.
  • Coordination with finance for shipment tracking and freight arrangements.
  • Coordination of deliveries and installation schedules.
  • Ensuring timely documentation for invoicing.
  • Supporting credit control for collection of payments.
  • Identifying new suppliers/products and expanding business opportunities in Oman market.
  • Maintaining harmonious working environment within the department.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Engineering Graduate (Preferably Mechanical Engineer).
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in Shelving, Storage, Warehousing & Racking Solutions.
  • Experience in Oman market is highly desirable.
