Position Summary
Responsible for running the accounting and financial activities of multiple organizations. They analyse the economic stability of the assigned companies and provide financial information to the management. A Financial Accountant reports on costs, productivity, margins, and company expenditures.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience with general ledger functions and manage all accounting transactions.
- Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports and Tax reporting.
- Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
- Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
- Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
- Conducting internal audits such as wage reviews
- Examining financial records to check for accuracy
· Execute assigned transactions on time with accuracy.
· Cash Application and following up with clients for remittance advice.
· Resolve customer / Suppliers queries through email and phone calls.
· Review and select standard responses for answers or solutions, Report on work executed.
· Track progress of assigned tasks, while at the same time adhering to Team set KPIs.
· Bank Reconciliation.
Requirements
· Graduation / Post Graduation in Commerce
· 3 – 7 years of Hands-on / relevant work experience.
· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
· SFAS Rules, Financial Skills, Analysing Information
· Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
· Good communication skills – both written and verbal
· Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
· Candidates having NOC / Local release will be preferred.
