Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ticketing Supervisor to lead and manage airline ticketing operations for a leading travel house in Oman. The role requires strong expertise in GDS systems, fare construction, and team supervision, ensuring efficient service delivery and revenue optimization.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 5–10 years of experience in airline ticketing / travel agency operations
  • Strong expertise in GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre)
  • In-depth knowledge of international fare construction, reissuance, refunds, and routing
  • Experience in handling corporate and retail ticketing
  • Strong supervisory or team handling experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily ticketing operations (domestic & international)
  • Handle complex ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds
  • Ensure compliance with airline policies, fare rules, and IATA regulations
  • Monitor and guide team members to achieve service quality and productivity targets
  • Coordinate with airlines and suppliers for fare approvals, group bookings, and special deals
  • Optimize ticketing processes to ensure cost efficiency and revenue maximization
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and provide prompt solutions
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports, sales reports, and transaction records
  • Ensure proper handling of documentation, invoicing, and reconciliation
  • Train and mentor junior team members
