Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager – Product, Pricing & Marketing to lead and integrate the full spectrum of Product Management (MCD) and Marketing functions for our automotive group in Oman.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring a senior professional capable of managing AGM-level team members across Product, Pricing, Inventory Planning, Ordering, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and align Product, Pricing, and Marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Drive long-term growth, profitability, and market positioning across brands/segments.
  • Act as a key member of the leadership team contributing to business planning.

2. Product & MCD Oversight

  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including model mix, positioning, and launches.
  • Supervise demand planning, inventory management, and ordering cycles.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels, aging control, and supply chain coordination.
  • Work closely with principals/OEMs on product strategy and allocation.

3. Pricing & Commercial Strategy

  • Define and monitor pricing strategies, margins, and discount structures.
  • Ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand patterns.

4. Marketing Leadership

  • Oversee brand strategy, campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure strong lead generation and conversion funnels.
  • Align marketing efforts with product strategy and sales targets.

5. Team Management

  • Lead and mentor AGM-level heads across:
    • Product / MCD
    • Pricing
    • Marketing
  • Build a high-performance, collaborative culture across departments.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, After Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Ensure seamless execution of product launches and campaigns.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 15–25+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience at senior leadership level (GM / Sr. AGM ready).
  • Exposure to both:
    • Marketing (mandatory)
    • Product / MCD functions (strong exposure required)

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Product planning & lifecycle
    • Pricing strategy
    • Inventory & ordering processes
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen.
  • Experience managing large teams and senior stakeholders.
  • GCC experience preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred – BE/BTech).
  • MBA (Marketing / Strategy) is an advantage.
