Job Purpose

To provide legal support across the Group’s diverse business verticals by managing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating legal matters, and supporting internal stakeholders on corporate and commercial legal issues in line with Omani laws.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Management & Documentation

  • Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and commercial documents across various business divisions
  • Ensure all agreements are compliant with Oman laws and internal company policies
  • Standardize and maintain contract templates for group-wide use

2. Legal Advisory (Corporate & Commercial)

  • Provide legal guidance to business units including Automotive, Electronics, and Real Estate divisions
  • Advise on corporate, commercial, and Oman labour law matters
  • Support internal investigations, disciplinary actions, and compliance-related issues

3. Legal Case & External Counsel Coordination

  • Coordinate with external legal advisors and law firms for litigation and dispute matters
  • Maintain updates on ongoing cases and provide periodic reports to management
  • Assist in preparation of legal notices, responses, and documentation

4. Compliance & Regulatory Matters

  • Ensure adherence to applicable Oman regulatory requirements across all business operations
  • Support implementation and monitoring of compliance frameworks and policies
  • Liaise with government authorities where required

5. Legal Records & Documentation Control

  • Maintain a centralized legal repository for contracts, case files, and corporate documents
  • Track key dates such as renewals, expiries, and court hearings
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and proper documentation practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent
  • Professional certification / Bar registration is an advantage

Experience

  • 5 – 10  years of relevant experience in corporate legal roles
  • Experience in diversified business groups or large organizations preferred
  • Prior exposure to Oman legal framework is highly desirable
