Job Purpose
To lead and drive the overall sales strategy and business development for the car rental and vehicle leasing division. The role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, expanding the customer base, and strengthening market presence across corporate, SME, and retail segments in Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for short-term rentals and long-term leasing.
- Drive business growth by acquiring new corporate and fleet clients across key sectors.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term contracts.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in Oman and the GCC.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
- Negotiate major contracts, pricing agreements, and service terms with key clients.
- Collaborate with operations and fleet teams to ensure optimal vehicle utilization and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing strategies, and credit controls.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking platforms.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 15–25 years of total experience, with significant exposure in car rental, fleet leasing, or automotive mobility solutions.
- Proven track record in sales leadership roles within the same or similar industry.
- Strong network with corporate clients and government sectors in Oman / GCC.
- Experience in managing large accounts, fleet contracts, and tender-based business.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to drive profitability and growth.
Preferred Profile
- Age between 35 – 45 years.
- Prior experience in Oman or GCC markets is highly preferred.
- Experience working with leading auto groups or car rental companies will be an advantage.
- Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
