Job Purpose:

To act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring efficient handling of service and repair requirements for commercial vehicles and heavy equipment, while delivering excellent customer satisfaction and maximizing service revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive customers and understand service/repair requirements for commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Open job cards with accurate details of customer complaints, vehicle condition, and required services.
  • Coordinate with workshop supervisors and technicians for job allocation and timely completion.
  • Provide customers with repair estimates, timelines, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on ongoing jobs and keep customers informed of progress.
  • Conduct vehicle/equipment handover after service completion with proper explanation of work done.
  • Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally and ensure resolution.
  • Promote additional services, parts, and value-added offerings to enhance revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, OEM standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and system updates.
  • Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and strive to meet service KPIs and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor with an authorized dealer of commercial/heavy vehicles or heavy equipment.
  • Strong understanding of service operations, workshop processes, and technical aspects of heavy vehicles/equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple customers and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in service systems / ERP is an advantage.
  • Valid GCC driving license preferred.

Education:

  • Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.

Language Requirement:

Preferred Profile:

  • Experience in reputed OEM dealerships handling brands such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, or heavy machinery.
  • Experience in GCC / Middle East market is an advantage.
