Role Overview

The Creative Art Director will lead the visual development and execution of high-impact creative campaigns across digital, print, outdoor, and video platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with a refined aesthetic sense and strong leadership capabilities to translate brand strategy into compelling visual communication while managing and inspiring creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of visual ideas for integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency and high-quality creative output across all media platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, account managers, and strategy teams to deliver innovative campaigns.
  • Supervise and manage designers, photographers, videographers, and external vendors.
  • Present creative concepts and campaign ideas confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and approve all visual deliverables to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated on emerging design trends, creative technologies, and regional market insights.
  • Mentor and develop junior creative team members to enhance overall agency standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in design or digital media tools will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 7–20 years of experience in creative design, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role (Art Director / Senior Designer / Creative Lead).
  • Proven experience working with marketing/advertising agencies is essential.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing integrated campaigns for local and international brands.
  • Experience handling clients in luxury, lifestyle, café, fashion, and accessories sectors is highly preferred.
  • GCC/Oman market experience will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other motion/video tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of digital platforms, social media creatives, and video content production.

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage but not compulsory.
