Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

  • Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control of automotive spare parts.
  • Ensure efficient warehouse layout, storage utilization, and workflow management.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity, accuracy, and service standards across warehouse operations.
  • Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs related to order fulfillment, productivity, and inventory accuracy.

Logistics & Distribution Management

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations for spare parts distribution across Oman.
  • Coordinate transportation schedules to ensure timely deliveries to dealerships, workshops, and retail outlets.
  • Manage third-party logistics providers (3PL), courier services, and transportation partners.
  • Ensure proper handling, packaging, and transportation of sensitive and high-value automotive components.

Inventory Management & Control

  • Maintain optimum inventory levels while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory.
  • Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliations to ensure system and physical stock accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory movement, aging stock, and obsolescence levels.
  • Implement best practices to achieve maximum inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

OEM Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with OEM standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain proper storage conditions and handling practices for automotive parts.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards established by automotive manufacturers.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse productivity, logistics efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives, automation, and best practices.
  • Reduce lead times, improve order accuracy, and enhance customer service levels.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with Procurement, Sales, Parts Operations, Service Centers, and Finance departments.
  • Ensure seamless coordination for inventory replenishment, order fulfillment, and logistics planning.
  • Support business growth through efficient supply chain and warehouse operations.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and staff awareness programs.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel.
  • Establish performance standards and monitor team productivity.
  • Conduct training programs to enhance operational and technical competencies.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Prepare and present management reports on inventory, logistics performance, warehouse productivity, and operational KPIs.
  • Analyze trends and recommend corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support management decision-making through data-driven reporting and analysis.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree or professional certifications in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, or Parts Operations within the Automotive Industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale spare parts warehouses and multi-location distribution networks.
  • Experience with automotive OEMs, dealerships, or automotive distributor networks is highly preferred.
  • GCC experience, preferably in Oman or the Middle East, will be an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and automotive parts logistics.
