Human Resources & Organizational Development (HR & OD) Manager

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
  • Lead organizational restructuring, change management, and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop succession planning and leadership development programs.

Organizational Development (OD)

  • Design and implement Organizational Development strategies to improve business performance.
  • Drive competency mapping, organizational structure reviews, and job evaluation exercises.
  • Develop career progression frameworks and talent development initiatives.
  • Implement employee engagement and culture enhancement programs.

Performance Management

  • Manage the organization's Performance Management System (PMS).
  • Drive annual goal setting, performance appraisals, KPIs, and development planning.
  • Coach managers on performance improvement and employee development.
  • Monitor organizational productivity and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead recruitment strategies for technical, commercial, and management positions.
  • Develop manpower planning and workforce optimization strategies.
  • Ensure timely recruitment of high-quality talent.
  • Build employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.

Learning & Development

  • Identify organizational training needs through Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
  • Develop annual training calendars and leadership development programs.
  • Coordinate technical, behavioral, and management development initiatives.
  • Measure training effectiveness and ROI.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Participate in salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Support annual salary reviews, promotions, and incentive programs.

Employee Relations

  • Foster a positive employee relations environment.
  • Manage disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Oman Labour Law.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with Oman Labour Law and other statutory regulations.
  • Maintain HR governance and audit compliance.
  • Lead HR process improvement and automation initiatives.

HR Systems & Analytics

  • Manage HRIS and digital HR transformation initiatives.
  • Develop HR dashboards, KPIs, and management reports.
  • Analyze HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Improve HR processes through technology and automation.

Omanisation

  • Develop and implement Omanisation strategies in line with government regulations.
  • Monitor Omanisation targets and prepare compliance reports.
  • Build development programs for Omani talent.
  • Liaise with relevant government authorities on Omanisation matters.

Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.
  • Promote a high-performance culture across the organization.
  • Support senior management on HR strategy and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree or professional HR qualification (CIPD, SHRM, PHRi, SPHRi, etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • 8–20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the Automotive industry is highly preferred.
GCC work experience is strongly preferred
