Description:
• Operates and maintains data center to assure 100% uptime to customers.
• Ensures that data centers comply with all local, state and safety requirements
• Operates data center equipment to obtain maximum effectiveness and efficiency (safety, cost, equipment longevity, and reliability)
• Works closely with the Engineering team in problem resolution and trending
• Manages raised-floor capacity, power and cooling in data centers, maximizing revenue space for installed products
• Participates in all Change Management processes including risk assessment and procedural development and review
• Installation, Configuration & Troubleshooting of Windows Servers 2008/2012
• Management of alerts raised by infrastructure elements
• Perform daily health checks (Network, Servers & Datacenter)
• Knowledge of Windows & Network Infrastructure
• Perform operations based on the documented procedures
• Ensure proper tracking of the alerts/requests received until closure
• Ensure first cut notification about major incident sent to respective stake holders on preliminary information.
• Coordinate with Service desk to raise P1 and P2 incidents based on alerts
• Timely Escalate the issues to the next level & Communication will be sent to all the resolver groups
• ITIL V3 Foundation Certified (Preferred)
