Description:
Purpose
- To maintain the S2 grade contractor certification with DCRP – as well to explore Renewable energy business opportunity.
- The Solar Energy Systems Engineer perform site-specific engineering analysis or evaluation of energy efficiency and solar projects involving residential, commercial, or industrial customers. Design solar system for new and existing structures, applying knowledge of structural energy requirements, local climates, solar technology, and thermodynamics. They also create plans for solar energy system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems.
- Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, including system components, for residential and commercial buildings / Projects.
- Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
- Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components.
- Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.Make sure that negotiated price lists are well applied and regularly updated by medical partners.
- Need to Provide after sales support
- Initiate corrective action for recurring issues
Requirements
· Technical degree in Electrical/ Mechanical / Civil issued authenticated by relevant authorities
· Minimum 4 years of Electrical Installation and Construction related works.
· Experience of two (2) years and at least three (2) Solar PV plants in: - Designing - Building - Verification/Testing
· Need to hold DCRP approved ESR & IOSH - HSE certification
· To have DCRP approved training certificate for “Grid Connected PV System Design and Installation”
· Handled PV solar projects independently
· NOC / Local release candidates (preferred)
